- "Export to file" button starts the export immediately
- "Import from file" button opens the file picker (.wpress only);
  drag and drop still works
- Remove single-item provider menus, button templates and the
  ai1wm_export_buttons/ai1wm_import_buttons hooks
- Drop dropdown styles and leftover feedback, report, share and
  sidebar CSS (page stylesheets ~17 KB -> ~11 KB)

All-in-One WP Migration (lightweight fork)

An independent, lightweight fork maintained by MrAkells, based on All-in-One WP Migration 6.77 by ServMask and the community "Unlimited Import Size" fork. It is not affiliated with or supported by ServMask. The original copyright notices and the GNU GPL v3-or-later license are retained; fork modifications are Copyright (C) 2026 MrAkells.

Requirements

  • PHP 8.0 or newer (the plugin header declares Requires PHP: 8.0; only the mysqli database driver is shipped).
  • A single-site WordPress installation. WordPress Multisite is not supported.

What is different from the original

  • Unlimited import size. There is no upload or restore size limit.
  • Selective export exclusions. Exclude individual files and folders inside wp-content (see below).
  • No vendor services. The plugin makes no requests to ServMask: the feedback and "Report issue" forms, social share widgets, review prompts and help-center links are removed.
  • No paid extensions. The "Export To" and "Import From" menus offer File only. Support for ServMask extensions (cloud storage, Multisite, URL, Unlimited) and their version-compatibility checks is removed.
  • No updates. The vendor updater (purchase IDs, update checks, extension updates) is removed. WordPress.org update offers and automatic updates for this plugin are blocked by runtime filters, and the Update URI: false header keeps WordPress.org from replacing the plugin while it is inactive (WordPress 5.8+). Updates for other plugins are unaffected. Install new versions of this fork manually.

Excluding files and folders from export

Open Export → Advanced options and check Do not export selected files and folders. A file browser for wp-content appears below the option:

  • Use the arrow next to a folder to open it, then check the files or folders to exclude.
  • Checking a folder excludes everything inside it, including files that have not been loaded in the browser. Uncheck it to choose individual files inside instead.
  • Clear selection removes all selections. Unchecking the option keeps your selection in the browser but sends nothing with the export.

Folders load only when opened, with Load more for folders containing more than 200 entries. The browser requires a signed-in user with the export capability and cannot leave wp-content, including through symbolic links.

Exclusions affect files only: they do not remove database records that reference those files. They apply to the current export and are not saved as defaults.
